Using a mirror in painting class, I wanted to continue study myself. What do we actually see when we look at ourselves? Do we like or more often hate what’s in the reflection? I have come to love my curls and turned up nose, freckles and ability to grow hair in places I’d rather not. Experimenting like this allows me to change what I want. My hair, blouse and apron colors have all been adapted. Next time I might paint myself blonde. Why not?
