Description
Another painting that got its roots in a group of 5-inch experiments on a larger piece of canvas. The colors radiated from the yellow center, each mixed with its closest neighboring color. Darks and lights are more striking, when adjacent. Just like life, we appreciate the lighter, playful times because the darkness and pain provides such a contrast. At one time, this painting was soaking with alcohol, the colors ran and made a lovely pinky-beige, not unlike sweet cake batter.
